Reunion 2023 News
Charleston, SC
Good morning:
It's one of those good news/bad news situations:
First, the bad news: The 2022 CARVER reunion is officially cancelled.
Good news is that we are going to get back all of our money except for the $500 non-refundable deposit. Thanks Mike! Mike is contacting Bart to see how we want to proceed with the refund.
Now comes the fun part. I'm suggesting that we plan on having the reunion in 2023 instead and hold it in Charleston instead - I don't know if we could get everything in place to hold it in 2022.
We'll need some volunteers to scout out locations in Charleston (or another location we chose).
We also need to look at our reunion committee members, some have held their positions for a very long time and have indicated that they are ready to 'retire'...
I want to thank everyone for their support and help in getting this reunion planned, I know it's been a hard road. Hopefully the 'upgraded' reunion will be easier.
Please let me know your thoughts and/or suggestions.
I'll get the word out to the crew later about cancelling the reunion and that they need to make sure they cancel any reservations that they might have made for Philly.
Thanks,
John.
